This was a contribution for a monthly art challenge group. The theme was to draw your favorite song. I selected 'Mad World." I prefer the Gary Jules version.

The original Gold Leaf was my first attempt at using acrylics since I stopped painting almost 20 years ago. I had a hard time working the paint in the first version. The person whose image I used requested to purchase the original version but I wanted to do it again and implement some technical changes to the way I applied the paint. This was the final result.
